On April 13, Jiangsu Provincial Association of Judicial Expertise, Jiangsu Provincial Judicial Department and more than 40 representatives from Nanjing, Wuxi, Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Yancheng, Zhenjiang, Suqian, Nantong, Changzhou, Huaian, Taizhou and Suzhou went to Suzhou Falab Institute of Judicial Expertise for investigation and research. Zhang Yijun, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Judicial Department, Zhai Jiejun, Director of Judicial Appraisal Administration Department of Jiangsu Judicial Department, and Yang Junwei, Deputy Director of Suzhou Judicial Bureau accompanied the investigation.

Liu Xuesen, President of Falab Group and Yan Jinglin, Director of Falab Judicial Appraisal Institute, warmly welcomed the visit of the association. At the symposium, Yan Jinglin reported on the information construction of Falab Appraisal Institute, Falab Intelligence Appraisal Platform, China's first identification video publicity, on-site inspection real-time video recording, UAV survey and other technical achievements. The Engineering Operations Department made a special report on falab's overall appraisal process, LIMS laboratory management system, case analysis platform, probability calculation software for intelligent AI fact determination, etc. Falab appraisal institute requires all the appraisal processes to be traceable, open and transparent, which has been highly praised by the experts of the association.

The delegation visited more than 100 sub-departments of ten failure analysis laboratories of Falab Institute, including material failure analysis laboratory, electronics and electrical laboratory, motor vehicle technology analysis laboratory, mechanical equipment analysis laboratory and chemical analysis laboratory, respectively, and managed the scale, equipment configuration, environmental facilities and standardization of Falab Institute. Zhang Yijun, deputy director of the provincial judicial expertise association, said that the purpose of organizing the event was to let all parts of the country know more about the frontier trends of judicial expertise, strengthen multi-party cooperation in judicial expertise, further improve the management capacity of judicial expertise in Jiangsu Province, and enhance the technical level of judicial expertise. Jiangsu Provincial Association of Judicial Expertise was established in September 2014. It is a social organization composed of judicial expert bodies and judicial experts in Jiangsu Province. There are 154 judicial expert bodies in Jiangsu Province at present. It is reported that by the end of 2017, there were 4338 judicial appraisal institutions registered by judicial administrative organs and 49 498 judicial appraisers in China. In 2017, more than 2.27 million judicial appraisal services were completed nationwide.
